About Shiraz
Known as Syrah in its native Rhône Valley, Shiraz found its true home in Australia and has become the country's signature red. In the Clare Valley it typically shows darker, richer fruit than its cooler-climate cousins — blueberry and blackberry rather than red cherry — with a savoury, peppery backbone underneath.
