This blend is a genuine tale of two blocks. The Shiraz comes from a cooler site on the estate's eastern side; the Grenache from a warmer block to the west. Blended in equal parts — 50% Grenache, 50% Shiraz — the two varietals show off their differences rather than blur into one another: cherry, dark cherry and cherry-ripe sweetness from the Grenache, juicy red fruit from the Shiraz.
The result is a fantastic strawberry-raspberry mouthfeel that's bright, fresh and dangerously easy to keep drinking.
