Crabtree Watervale Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from our estate grown fruit in the very heart of the Watervale sub region of the Clare Valley.

The fruit was handpicked and carefully selected to ensure the best possible fruit condition and retain the fresh fruit flavour that Watervale is renowned. The handpicked fruit was open fermented and basket pressed using traditional methods and matured in a blend of one year old and two year old French oak barriques for 12-14 months. With lifted aromatics of tobacco leaf and spice, Watervale Cabernet Sauvignon shows rich and vibrant blackcurrant fruit flavours with a finely textured tannin structure to finish.

With careful cellaring this wine should mature gracefully for eight+ years.
